The function of the fuel system

Automotive fuel systems include conventional carburetor gasoline fuel systems, electronically controlled gasoline injection fuel systems, gasoline direct injection fuel systems, conventional diesel fuel systems, and electronically controlled diesel injection fuel systems. The gasoline fuel system for carburetors is now obsolete. Taking the electronically controlled gasoline injection fuel system as an example, the composition and function of the fuel system are briefly introduced.

The electronic gasoline injection fuel injection system is a fuel supply device for gasoline engines, which uses an injector to inject a certain amount of gasoline directly into the cylinder or intake pipe under constant pressure. The fuel system is an important part of the engine. Its role is to store the fuel and deliver the clean fuel that meets the requirements to the inlet of the fuel injection pump without hindrance. Through the fuel supply system, it is sprayed into the combustion chamber at the most suitable time with the appropriate atomization method and regularity.
