What is the difference between a jet pump and a self-priming pump?
1. From the structural point of view, there is an additional fluid conduction in the pump head of the jet pump, the pump cavity is larger than the self-priming pump, the impeller material is plastic steel, and the impeller material of the self-priming pump is generally copper;
2. In terms of use, both have suction stroke, the jet pump is generally used in places where the water quality has a slight sand content, the self-priming pump impeller is more compact, can only pump clean water, and the impeller will be worn out if the water quality contains sand;
3. From the perspective of silence, the self-priming pump is better, and the water of the jet pump is one stream and the noise is on the high side.
